Boot Camp training includes all supplies and equipment needed during your 4 1/2 days of training. Breakfast , and Lunch is provided daily. Expect a Professional yet friendly atmosphere with great food and an excellent experience in TEXAS! This class also includes a 5 night stay at the Comfort Suites, Mesquite, Texas (Sun-Thurs night.) The training is called Boot Camp because after we 1st started this class many of the trainees stated that by Friday they had been trough a Boot Camp with all the information that they had received resulting in the name! Expect to learn the basic fundamentals of Acid Staining, Overlays, Spray Downs, Poured in Place Concrete Countertops, and a peak a Pre Cast Countertops. This class is 4 days of Hands On Training, and 1/2 day of Marketing and basically catching your breath before you go start making money! Most people already have jobs scheduled prior to coming to Boot Camp....

Acid Staining;  Expect to learn basic Acid Staining Applications with a little creative design. Application methods and tips & tricks from the Professionals. Cleaning, Scoring, Staining & Engraving techniques will be taught.

Overlays:   Proper cleaning techniques for applying an overlay to existing concrete. Overlays will be trained in several applications techniques to include; stamped, acid stained, broom finished, troweled, and spray texture. Different coloring techniques that can be used to change the appearance of each application will be taught. Time saving tips and cost effective applications.

Concrete Countertops:  We will take the guess work out of Cast in Place Concrete Countertops. You will be working on start to finish applications in a complete kitchen setting, as well as your own individual countertops that you are welcome to take with you once the training is complete. Introduction to Pre Cast Concrete countertops. Fixture and Sink applications will be covered as well as polishing and color techniques.

This class is designed for the person who just wants the basics of Acid Staining with Hands on application experience. We will introduce you to basic application, scoring and sealing applications. All students will take home sample boards that they created in class.

SkimStone® Hybridized Portland Cement is a unique decorative finishing system designed to produce a beautiful textured appearance on concrete floors and countertops. This unique floor product will absolutely turn heads, when customer see the finished application. SkimStone is categorized in the Industry as an overlay, but I really find it to more of a specialty coating due to the application is extremely thin, and can be applied in areas that can not with stand raising the height of the floorings.
